The Institute for the Calibration of Reality cordially invites you to the First International Symposium on Parasemiology, July 19-31, 2033, to commemorate the ten year anniversary of the inauguration of parasemiology, the most important innovation in the field of semiotics since semiotics. The conference will be held on the picturesque island of Tristan da Cunha.*
The theory of parasemiology has been elaborated by Saintarctica Ottorino and Porch Lagersthwaite in two reports, prepared for a special issue of the Journal de la Sémiologie Quotidienne.
*Tristan is only accessible by boat, and the journey takes six days, so most of the conference will take place on a fishing vessel. The island is unlikely to have accommodations for all attendees anyway, so we will luncheon there, then take our leave.
